The Fine Print

Privacy, plainly

The short version: if you give us your email, we use it to send the newsletter — the occasional nudge, never more than one a week. We don’t sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone beyond the service that delivers the email. That’s genuinely the whole deal. The longer version is below.

Who we are

Pump Chump is a micromobility advocacy project at pumpchump.org. This note explains what data we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

Why we use it

Who else touches it

Fewer people than you’d expect. Your email (and name, if given) is stored in Ghost, newsletter software running on our own server — not parked with a third-party list company. Beyond that:

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Your choices

Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the little data we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the “last updated” date above.
